Campus Tours and Information Sessions

We offer prospective undergraduate and graduate students many opportunities to schedule a campus visit. In addition to in-person and virtual tours, we provide information sessions for specific schools, transfer students, and graduate students. 

Located only 30 miles from New York, our campus is accessible via car or public transportation. A few things to note:

  • Campus tours run Monday-Friday, at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. 
  • Available for undergraduate and graduate students.
  • In-person tours last approximately 2 hours and include an information session.
  • We also offer virtual information sessions for select programs, including nursing students and doctoral programs.

Join us at one of our undergraduate or graduate Open Houses to meet with current students, faculty, and Student Affairs staff. Gain insight into the admissions process, learn more about our academic programs and athletic teams, and explore how you can become an active member of student clubs and organizations, whether you plan to live on campus or commute.  Open House events are held each fall and spring.

Envision a new path at Manhattanville with an information session and college tour for transfer students. Or attend a Transfer Instant Decision Day, held every Tuesday and Thursday, and receive an admissions decision on the spot. We also host virtual information sessions for transfer nursing students.

Register for a virtual information session to learn more about the more than 70 graduate and doctoral program offerings.  Several programs offer hybrid and/or online learning options. Prospective graduate and doctoral students can also visit the College and attend an Open House.

  • Deegan Expressway/New York State Thruway (I-87) north to exit 8. 
  • Right to Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287), east to Hutchinson River Parkway. 
  • North on Hutchinson River Parkway to exit 16 (in New York, not Connecticut) at Route 120 (Purchase Street). 
  • Left on Purchase Street to campus.

 

From Long Island

  • Throgs Neck or Whitestone Bridge north to Hutchinson River Parkway north. 
  • Stay on Hutchinson River Parkway north and take exit 16 (in New York, not Connecticut) at Route 120 (Purchase Street)
  • Left on Purchase Street to campus.

 

From Upstate New York and Northern New Jersey

  • Tappan Zee Bridge East to Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287). 
  • East to Hutchinson River Parkway (Exit 9 north). 
  • North on Hutchinson River Parkway to exit 16 (in New York, not Connecticut) at Route 120 (Purchase Street). 
  • Left on Purchase Street to campus.

 

From Putnam and Dutchess Counties

  • South on I-684 to exit 2. 
  • Follow Route 120 south (Purchase Street) to campus (about 4 miles).

 

From Connecticut

  • Merritt Parkway South to Hutchinson River Parkway south. 
  • Stay on Hutchinson River Parkway south to exit 16 in New York (not in Connecticut). 
  • Turn right onto Route 120 (Purchase Street) and follow to campus on left.

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) provides free Peer Tutoring sessions for undergraduate students. Through the ARC, students receive individual and group support in a variety of subjects at all levels of the curriculum.

The Center for Student Accessibility partners with students to empower them to take ownership of their college journey. The Center also strives to increase positive dialogue surrounding disabilities, promoting the "people first" approach and communicating the message that disability is an integral part of diversity.

The Andrew Bodenrader Center for Academic Writing and Composition has a mission is to provide Manhattanville students with support at any stage of the writing process. We strive to build the confidence of student writers through encouraging, collaborative one-to-one sessions with peer tutors, graduate Writing Center Fellows, and Academic Writing faculty. 

The Center for Career Development is committed to individualized career exploration counseling, self-assessment, skill development, and utilizing internship and job search strategies that empower students to take ownership in their personal and professional success.
