Find What You Need to Succeed
By modeling problem-solving strategies, our staff helps to promote self-determination and self-advocacy skills in order to enhance students' abilities to use their own strengths to address challenges.
The Academic Resource Center (ARC) provides free online tutoring to all students in a wide variety of subjects in partnership with NetTutor. Students can meet one-on-one with professional tutors through NetTutor’s online platform, where live tutoring is available for many subjects 24/7. Additionally, the ARC offers in-person workshops on goal setting, study skills, and time management throughout the academic year.
The Writing Center’s mission is to provide Manhattanville students with support at any stage of the writing process. We strive to build the confidence of student writers through encouraging, collaborative one-to-one sessions with peer tutors, graduate Writing Center Fellows, and Academic Writing faculty.
Beginning early on in your first year our Center for Career Development will work with you to create a four-year plan to help you find internships that will provide you with the experience you need to find your dream job after graduation.
With many ways to access resources, the library provides each student with ample opportunities to study, find readings, and broaden the mind. Whatever your major, we’ve got you covered, with subject librarians available in person or online. Every library staff member is here to help students achieve academic success. Whether you prefer quiet study, group collaboration, attending informative events, or meeting up with friends in the Café, the library has the right space.
The Office of Instructional Technology is here to support students, faculty, and staff towards successful teaching and learning. Get tips about online courses, find support, and more.
