This study aims to explore the microaggressions present in the PE curriculum that perpetuate inequities in Black full-time faculty within the field of Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE). This critical qualitative inquiry will explicitly focus on unveiling the "White space" that may exist within PETE. Through this critical qualitative method approach, the study will include surveys and interviews. This study investigates the factors contributing to the “White space” phenomenon and implications for diversity, equity, and inclusion within PETE departments.
