Summer with the Center for Career Development
Summer is finally here, and we know many of you are ready for a well-deserved brain break. Whether you're heading to the beach, starting a summer job, or just enjoying some downtime, we hope you take this chance to relax. At the same time, we know that for many of you, especially recent grads, this is also an important time to keep the career development process moving forward.
The CCD is here for you all summer long. Whether you're updating your resume, looking for internships or jobs, or just want to talk about your next steps, our team is available for virtual and in-person appointments.
How to Book an Appointment
Start by making sure your Handshake profile is current. If you just graduated, update your status from Senior to Alumni! Review our Alumni Policy on appointments here.
To schedule:
Log into Handshake
Click on Career Center on the left side-bar, then Appointments
Select Schedule a New Appointment and choose Career Development
Pick your appointment type from the list of appointments that we offer
Choose a date and time with a counselor
Add any helpful details about what you want to discuss
Click Create
Once submitted, your counselor will confirm the appointment or reach out if anything needs clarification. For a full step-by-step walkthrough, check out our Handshake page on our website.
