Congratulations to Madeline Diamond-Sanchez for her confident, detailed, and impactful dissertation proposal defense this week: LEADING THROUGH CRISIS; THE ROLE OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRINCIPALS’ LEADERSHIP DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. Madeline’s important qualitative research will utilize a semi-structured interview process to gather her data. Her study will explore how elementary principals accessed emotional intelligence as defined by Goleman’s Model to prepare them to manage the unique leadership challenges presented by the Pandemic.
