Cost of Attendance

Cost of Attendance at Manhattanville

Estimated costs are the same for all students—but what each student actually pays can vary significantly.  The figures below represent the full cost of attendance before any financial aid is applied. Financial aid—including scholarships, grants, and loans—is a separate resource that helps students cover these costs and is awarded based on individual circumstances like family income, academic merit, and eligibility for federal, state, or institutional aid.

To get a personalized estimate of what you might actually pay, we encourage you to explore Manhattanville’s scholarships and financial aid opportunities and use our Net Price Calculator to see how aid could impact your bottom line.

The total cost of attending Manhattanville can vary each year based on tuition and fees, housing choices, and personal spending habits. To help you plan, we’ve provided estimated costs for a full academic year.

These estimates apply to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in both the fall and spring semesters. They’re designed to help you understand the financial commitment involved in earning your degree.

What’s Included in the Cost of Attendance?

Your cost of attendance is made up of two types of expenses:

  • Direct Costs: These are charges billed directly by Manhattanville, such as tuition, fees, and housing and meal plans for students living on campus. You’ll see these on your student account.
  • Indirect Costs: These are estimated expenses that support your education but aren’t billed by the university. They include items like books, transportation, and personal spending.

Borrowing and Loans

Understanding your costs is key—but so is borrowing responsibly. The figures above are intended to help you budget, but your actual expenses may differ.

If you plan to borrow federal student loans, be sure to account for the required loan origination fee. You can find current federal loan rates and fees at studentaid.gov.

Private loans are also available through banks and other lenders. Use tools like ELMSelect to compare options and find the best fit for your needs.
