The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Radiologic Technology at Manhattanville College is the only accredited radiologic technology bachelor’s degree program in Westchester County, New York, and one of the only in the region. Designed to prepare students to pass certification exams and start their careers as radiologic technologists, our radiologic technology bachelor’s degree program incorporates the ability to apply your knowledge in clinical placement rotations at some of the top New York City-area health care institutions.
Overview: B.S. in Radiologic Technology
Manhattanville’s four-year radiologic technology degree program consists of a selective, focused curriculum that imparts the skills needed to consistently and effectively use ionizing radiation technology to produce images that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Through classroom instruction and hands-on learning in both simulated and actual clinical environments, radiologic technology majors learn how to accurately position and use imaging equipment, how to protect patients and operators against radiation, and how to be stellar caregivers who are responsive to all patients.

Degree Curriculum and Requirements
The curriculum of the B.S. in Radiologic Technology degree program consists of various technical and applied learning courses designed to educate and train students in the art and science of diagnostic radiologic technology. B.S. in Radiologic Technology degree requirements include:
- 15 credits in required radiologic technology major courses and labs
- Further courses in health sciences and technical knowledge
- A number of hours in clinical placement rotations practicing essential radiological and patient care procedures
In addition, the well-rounded bachelor’s degree curriculum incorporates general education courses, interdisciplinary First Year Seminar courses, and flexible electives that build a foundation in critical thinking, communication, and evaluation skills you will need throughout your career as a radiologic technician.
