Manhattanville College is committed to providing students with flexible learning options that include opportunities accelerated learning, dual degree completion, and a true college experience while keeping affordability in mind. We encourage you to consider enrolling in one of our program tracks within the Schools of Education and Arts & Sciences.
BENEFITS INCLUDE
- Complete graduate coursework while paying less. Students are able to apply undergraduate scholarships and need-based grants toward undergraduate and graduate classes to help keep minimize costs.
- Students pursuing an accelerated or dual degree program have greater opportunities for faculty mentorship, career networking events, and developing lifelong relationships with their peers.
- The earlier students elect this pathway, the greater time there is for academic planning, and the more flexibility students have to incorporate electives, study abroad opportunities, and consideration of an additional minor or certificate program.
4+1 Accelerated Programs
Students completing a 4+1 accelerated program take advantage of completing two degrees in just five years! 4+1 program tracks are available to students enrolled in the School of Arts and Sciences. The first three years will focus on undergraduate coursework, with the fourth year combining bachelor’s and master’s level classes. In the fifth year, students are officially enrolled in graduate school to complete their final classes and graduate with both an undergraduate and graduate degree.

Dual Degree Programs
A dual degree program is a popular option for students interested in pursuing an Education degree. Students will work with an advisors from the Schools of Education and Arts & Sciences throughout their undergraduate experience to seamlessly transition into graduate classes during their senior year. During the fifth year of study, students will formally enroll in graduate-only classes and typically complete the master’s level coursework within two years.
