Student Clubs and Organizations

Clubs and organizations are an integral part of the student experience at Manhattanville!

Every student group on-campus is student-run, allowing Valiants an opportunity to gain leadership experience with something they're passionate about. Beyond weekly and monthly meetings, student clubs and organizations produce events, host field trips, and perform at large campus events like Fall Fest and Quad Jam. From dance groups to academic honor societies, there's something for everyone!

Civic Engagement

Empower your academic journey through advocacy and support programs. Explore your interests, bond with fellow students, and tap into the academic resources that allow you to maximize your talents. Here, you can shape your life to fit who you want to be. Wherever you are coming from, you are welcome at Manhattanville.

The Women's Empowerment Club is a safe space for students of all backgrounds and identities centered on creating the activists of today. Through sharing experiences a focus extends to topics regarding social justice, racial injustice, reproductive rights, gun violence, mental health advocacy, voting accessibility, healthy relationship dynamics, the LGBTQIA+ community, and much more. At the forefront of this organization we strive to be inclusive and generate change on campus that exceeds the walls of Manhattanville.

We strive to make the campus more physically and emotionally accessible for people with disabilities. We do this by advocating for campus projects regarding accessibility, hosting a variety of awareness events including a Disability Awareness Week every April.

Cultural Groups

Our community is enriched by diversity in all its forms including but limited to age, ability, race, ethnicity, religion/spiritual tradition, gender identity and expression, sexual identity, veteran status, socioeconomic class, nation of origin, language spoken, documentation status, personal appearance and political beliefs. We are better because of the talents and experiences of our diverse community.

The fundamental purpose of this organization is to provide a community where international students can connect through events, activities and create a network that helps them socially/culturally and acts as the voice for any concerns that there might be on campus regarding international students.
Our purpose is to educate Manhattanville students, staff and faculty about the Latinx community through events focused on fomenting cultural awareness. Our goal is to promote culture, diversity, and inclusion to the Manhattanville Community.
