Dr. LaFleur comes to Manhattanville after years of experience at the College of New Rochelle (CNR), and, more recently, Mercy College.
She was a faculty member in Psychology at CNR for 20 years and directed both the freshman studies program and the women’s studies program. Beginning in 2017, she was Associate Dean and then Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at CNR, and oversaw the college closure and transfer of many of her students to Mercy College, where she worked with the administration to see most of the students to graduation.
She is a strong advocate for students and has a reputation as a data expert, using the collection of relevant information to evaluate program effectiveness as well as to spot opportunities for enrollment growth.
