Dr. Melissa Boston is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in the treatment of adolescents and young adults. Dr. Boston obtained her MA in Psychology and Education from Columbia University Teacher's College and went on to earn her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University. The abundance of her training has been in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults.

Dr. Boston earned her BA from Manhattanville in May 2000, and returned to Manhattanville in January 2015 as a staff psychologist; she then became the associate dean of student health and counseling and is presently the dean. Prior to Manhattanville, Dr. Boston worked in a variety of settings including a Community Mental Health Center, a Residential Treatment Facility, and Private Practice.

Dr. Boston is skilled in using evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She is also trained in the use of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for PTSD/Trauma. She works with clients who present with a wide range of concerns, symptoms, and diagnoses.
