Joseph Fasano is the author of three books of poetry: Fugue for Other Hands (Cider Press, 2013), which won the 2011 Cider Press Review Book Award; Inheritance (Cider Press, 2014), which has been nominated for the James Laughlin Award; and Vincent (forthcoming, 2015). A winner of the RATTLE Poetry Prize, he has been a finalist for the Missouri Review Editors’ Prize, and he has twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, among other honors. His work has appeared in publications including The Yale Review, The Southern Review, Boston Review, The Times Literary Supplement, Tin House, FIELD, Measure, and Passages North, and he has several times been featured in the Academy of American Poets’ poem-a-day program and on Verse Daily. His Fugue for Other Hands was recently nominated by the acclaimed poet Linda Pastan for the Poets’ Prize, “awarded annually for the best book of verse published by a living American poet two years prior to the award year.” In addition to Manhattanville University, Fasano also teaches in the undergraduate and MFA Creative Writing Programs at Columbia University.
