In 1949, Manhattanville acquired the former estate of diplomat Whitelaw Reid, in Purchase, New York
On October 1, 1952, the new Manhattanville campus began welcoming students, alumnae, and friends to the University.
The 100-acre campus offers a variety of spaces from large to small equaling over 7500 sq feet of space. We also have an onsite caterer that serves the greater Hudson Valley with chiefs brought in from New York City and surrounding areas.
Manhattanville Venues
We welcomes guests for conferences on a regular basis, and venues are in high demand
for summer camps and wedding clients. Our policy of catering weddings is to only
cater one party per day, ensuring we maintain a level of exclusive service and culinary
standards that are as exquisite as everything else about Reid Castle.
