Payment Plans and Information

A Note About Credit Card Payment Service Fees:

*Effective July 1, 2024, all Debit and Credit card payments to Manhattanville University will be charged a non-refundable service fee of 2.95% for domestic cards (minimum $3.00) and 4.25% for international-issued cards. Please note that this fee is charged by our service provider, TouchNet PayPath, to cover the costs of processing your credit or debit payment for Manhattanville University. Manhattanville does not keep any part of this fee.*

 

 

Payment Methods

For your convenience, we offer various payment methods which will assist you in paying your tuition. We accept payment in full by cash, check, debit card, credit card, e-check, money order or wire transfers.

Make checks payable to: Manhattanville University and indicate the student ID number.  

Your payment must be received by the due date of the semester to avoid a late fee.

Monthly payment plans are also available for the fall and spring terms on Touchnet.

  • Authorized users need to be given access by the student.

  • Your Touchnet login is the same credentials (username and password) you use for your Manhattanville email and Self-Service.

  • Credit and debit card payments can only be made online and can not be accepted over the phone or in person.

Monthly Payment Plan

Manhattanville offers a monthly payment plan, accessible through Touchnet. It enables students and their families to pay monthly installments for out of pocket expenses of any amount toward tuition, fees, and housing. Many students and families find monthly installments more manageable than a single payment each semester. Manhattanville offers six, five, and four monthly payment plans for both the fall and spring semesters. We are now offering a new seven month payment plan for the fall semester to assist students with making payments. Our payment plans are low cost and have no interest, just a $50 enrollment fee per semester.*   The payment plan is not a loan, therefore, there are no credit checks. Any student, parent, or guardian is eligible to enroll in a payment plan. Students and authorized users may enroll in whichever payment plan best works for them.

To enroll in a payment plan, students should log in using their username and password. Authorized users must first be given access by the student. The total amount that a payment plan needs to be set up for should be manually entered by the student or authorized user, as the system does not automatically enter the balance and will not be updated if any changes to the account occur. If an account balance changes due to an increase/decrease in financial aid or other form of payment to the account, the payment plan may be adjusted to match the new balance. Please contact the Student Accounts office at Onestop@Mville.edu to have the payment plan updated. 

 

During enrollment, automatic payments may be selected for future installments. If the option for automatic payments is not selected, payment must be made manually each month on the due date. Payments may be made with debit cards, credit cards, electronic checks (ACH), and wire transfers. 

 

For the fall semester, students can enroll in payment plans beginning June 1st. If a student would like to enroll in a six month payment plan later than June 1st, they are able to do so. For instance, a student can enroll in a six month plan on July 1st, however the first missed installment for June as well as the July 1st payment will be due at the time of enrollment. This also applies to spring payment plans, which begin on November 1st. 

 

*Please note the $50 enrollment fee is non-refundable. 

 


 

Sample Payment Plan:

 

A six month payment plan set up for an out of pocket expense of $2,000 would calculate to $333.33 due the first of each month. A five month payment plan for the same amount would be $400 monthly, and a four month plan would be $500. The earlier students enroll in the monthly payment plan, the smaller each monthly installment will be, because the plan gets divided into more payments.
