About Me

Prof. Ryan Fisk brings several years’ experience teaching and as a department chairperson to Manhattanville’s educational leadership and physical education programs, providing his students the opportunity to explore administrative software and services, stay abreast of current literature and research trends, and leverage social media and other Web 2.0 tools to connect electronically with other leaders. Prof. Fisk has also served as a director of instructional technology in Great Neck, N.Y., investigating and implementing cutting edge technologies into classroom lessons to strengthen teaching and learning. He has also developed secondary health and physical education curricula as a department chair and teacher. Prof. Fisk has presented technology and teaching-related workshops at the local, state, and regional level for Suffolk ASSET, NYSAHPERD, and AAHPERD. He collaborates with other educators from around the world, sharing best practices on Twitter as @Ryan_Fisk. In his free time, Prof. Fisk is an American Red Cross instructor and volunteer, and is currently co-authoring an HIV/AIDS prevention guidance document that will serve as a teaching model for all New York State Health Educators. He also enjoys traveling, skiing, and trying out new cuisines.
