About Me

Dr. Ellis joined Manhattanville College in 2011. He taught at the University of Connecticut during 2008-2011. He received his Ph.D. from Rutgers University and his A.B. from the University of Chicago, where he also majored in philosophy.  His areas of scholarly interest include set theory, Borel reducibility theory, graph theory, and recreational mathematics.  He is the director of the Westchester Area Math Circle: westchestermath.org
