About Me

Noor Syed has completed both M.A. and M.Phil. degrees in Applied Behavior Analysis at Teachers College, Columbia University, with plans to defend her dissertation this fall, which is entitled, “Conditioned Seeing as Functionally Related to Bi-directional Naming Repertoires with Third, Fourth and Fifth Graders Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.” Noor has over ten years’ experience working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis with a specialization in autism spectrum disorder. She is a Board-Certified and New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst and a New York State-certified general and special education teacher through grade 6. Among her publications is a collaborative piece of work entitled “The Effects of Conditioning Three Dimensional Stimuli on Identity Matching and Imitative Responses in Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.” Noor has researched and volunteered abroad as a clinician with the Global Autism Project, a non-profit organization that partner with centers in impoverished areas around the world to implement evidence-based practices for children with special needs in a sustainable fashion.
