Mary retired from her position as Superintendent of Schools of Pleasantville Union Free School District (PUFSD) December 31, 2021 after serving in this position for 11 years. Previously, and in the same district, she was Director of Instructional Services, Curriculum Coordinator, Technology Coordinator, and a teacher.

Before Mary joined PUFSD, she was a social studies and computer science teacher at Iona Preparatory School. Mary has been a leader in the region and the state. She was President of SWBOCES Chief School Administrators Association, President of the Lower Hudson Council of School Superintendents, and a member of the Executive Council of New York State Council of School Superintendents. Her leadership as an educator has been recognized with numerous awards, including an Award for Service in Education by the NYS Senate.

Mary has a Professional Diploma in Administration from the College of New Rochelle, an MS in Education (Instructional Technology) from Iona College, and a BA in History and Secondary Education from Mercy College.
