Kristie Lynch, Ed.D.
Assistant Professor, Physical Education

Dr. Kristie Lynch has obtained an Ed.D. in health education from Teachers College, Columbia University; an M.S. in motor learning from Teachers College, Columbia University; an M.S. in physical education from Hofstra University; and a B.S. in kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Lynch is permanently certified in physical education (K-12) with 15 years’ experience teaching physical education and over 10 years teaching college-level physical education coursework. She has presented at both New York State and national conferences in the field of health and physical education. Dr. Lynch will teach Applied Exercise Physiology and an assortment of health classes, as well as direct the health and wellness advanced certificate program at Manhattanville College.
Additionally, Dr. Lynch is an accomplished professional figure skating coach with over 15 years of competitive coaching experience. She also instructs off-ice training programs for figure skaters and volunteers for United States Figure Skating. In her leisure time, Dr. Lynch enjoys sports, travel and reading.
