About Me

Over the past few years, John has served as an adjunct instructor at Teachers College, Bard College, Mount Saint Mary College, Sacred Heart University, and Dutchess Community College. He has taught courses focused on education in general and social studies specifically. He also has served as a student teaching supervisor for students at both Teachers College and Marist College, observing and mentoring students with placements in New York City and he Hudson Valley. He served as the principal for 175 K8 students at St. Mary’s School, in Wappingers Falls, NY for one year and served as a social studies teacher at Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers Falls, NY and at Paramount Bard Academy in Delano, CA.

John currently is working on his dissertation for his Ph.D. in Social Studies Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
