Dr. Kevin Roberts began his professional relationship with Manhattanville College in 2012 teaching special education graduate courses as an adjunct professor. He became the Director of Field Placement and Certification for the School of Education in 2014. He assumed the role of Associate Dean of Accreditation and Technology for the School of Education in 2019. His earlier career was spent in not-for-profit social service and academic/educational settings. He has taught at the pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and junior high school levels and at the college level. Dr. Roberts has held administrative positions with various organizations. Prior to coming to Manhattanville College he was the Executive Director of a not-for-profit early childhood education organization. Partnerships existed with the Public Schools of the Tarrytown in universal pre-kindergarten services and Westchester ARC and Alcott School in inclusive pre-kindergarten services. He received a school partnership award from Westchester ARC. Dr. Roberts was a founder of a thriving not-for-profit organization and has sat on the Board of Directors of three not-for-profit organizations including a term as president. He was chairperson of the Residential Services Committee of the Bronx Developmental Disabilities Council for two years and was a member of the Westchester Early Childhood Directors Association and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Dr. Roberts successfully completed his doctoral studies in Educational Leadership at Manhattanville College in 2017.
