Alyssa Campo-Carman is a graduate of Manhattanville’s Accelerated Teacher Certification and Masters Program. Alyssa has been working with individuals with disabilities in different capacities since 2012 and in the Center for Student Accommodations at Manhattanville College since August of 2013. Starting off in her role as Testing Coordinator, Alyssa was responsible for arranging all exam accommodations for students registered with the office. In July of 2015, Alyssa was promoted to Assistant Director of the Center for Student Accommodations and took on added responsibilities including coordinating note taking and alternate text accommodations, conducting intake interviews, supervising student workers, chairing the Campus Accessibility Committee, and advising the Manhattanville Valiant Access Club. In May of 2017, Alyssa was named Interim Director of the Center for Student Accommodations and on September 1, 2017, she was appointed to the Director’s position.
Fun Fact: If Alyssa were a Ninja Turtle, she would be a combination of Michelangelo for his goofy sense of humor, and Leonardo for his empathetic manner and leadership.
