The Manhattanville College Community Orchestra, under the direction of Carl C. Bettendorf, will present its spring concert on Sunday, May 7 at 4 p.m.
The program will feature “Prelude to Khovanshchina” ("Dawn on the Moskva River") by Modest Mussorgsky; “Russian Easter Festival Overture, Op. 36” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov; “Karfreitagszauber” ("Good Friday Spell") from “Parsifal” by Richard Wagner; and “Romeo and Juliet” by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
The concert will be held in the West Room of Reid Castle on the College’s campus at 2900 Purchase Street, Purchase, New York. Admission is free and open to the public.
