Welcome to the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership

The mission of the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership (CSIL) is to empower, engage and educate students, and to support the mission of the College. CSIL collaborates with Student Affairs and Academic Affairs across campus to develop social and educational programs and traditions which support the college mission, foster student development, and build institutional spirit. CSIL contributes to the creation of a vibrant campus life and student personal growth through participation in student clubs/organizations, Student Government Association, traditions, and events occurring both on and off campus.

Commuter Life

Manhattanville College has a number of facilities to provide for commuters to socialize and study during their days on campus including the Commuter Lounge in Brownson Hall, and all of the dining areas on campus like the Cafe, Pub and Starbucks on the ground floor of Benziger.

There are 40+ recognized student organizations that range in interests and specialties to meet the needs of Mville students. While supported by faculty/staff of Manhattanville College, clubs/organizations are entirely student run.

Peer Mentor Program

The Peer Mentor Program connects incoming students with successful upperclass students in order to help them with the transition to college life with emphasis on successful academics and student leadership. Mentors are tied to each First Year Program class and available upon request for individual support.
