The Mentor Program

The Manhattanville Mentor Program connects incoming students with successful upperclassmen in order to help them with the transition to college life with emphasis on successful academics and student leadership. Mentors are tied to each First Year Program class and available upon request for individual support.

Mentor Program Proposals


We have over 30+ mentors all with GPA's over 3.0. Mentors represent almost every academic program including self-design. Our mentees avg GPA was a 3.6 by the end of the program and 96% were considered successful.


We had over 50 sponsored programs in the 2014-15 academic year including Spa Night, Therapy Dogs, Massages, Family Feud, Apple Picking, Aladdin the Musical, Eating Disorder Awareness with over 2,000 attendees in total.


Over 2500 hours were logged in the 2014-15 year focusing on goals, careers, majors, registration help, social support, time management, coaching, mville tech help.
