REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE STUDENTS
The equivalent bachelors and/or graduate degrees from a foreign institution. Official transcripts should be submitted directly from the institution of higher education where the applicant completed the undergraduate degree. All documents written in languages other than English must be accompanied by certified English translation.
Minimum grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale)
- Credential evaluation completed by Academic Credentials Evaluation Institute(ACEI) as a comprehensive report or World Education Services(WES) as an ICAP evaluation
- Criteria specific to the degree program set by the academic department
- Certificate of Financial Responsibility
Proof of English proficiency by providing one of the following:
Applicants from countries where English is not the official language, and who have not earned at least a bachelor’s degree in the U.S., must also demonstrate proficiency in the English language. Minimum test scores required to determine proficiency are:
IELTS - 6.5
TOEFL (iBT – 80; PBT – 550)
Duolingo – 105
HOW TO APPLY
1. Complete the online application form.
2. Pay the non-refundable $75 application fee.
3. Submit the official undergraduate/bachelors transcript.
4. Submit the English language proficiency test score (if applicable).
5. Submit a personal statement
6. Submit at least 2 letters of recommendation.
IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS
Upon admission to a graduate program the applicant will be required to submit Certificate of Financial Responsibility, a bank letter from the sponsor showing at least $38, 195 on the account, and a copy of passport.
Please note that Manhattanville College does not offer any scholarship or other kind of financial aid for the graduate programs.

International Admissions must receive all of your application materials by these dates for consideration for a specific term
- Fall Term - application materials due by July 15th
- Spring Term - application materials due by December 15th
- Summer Term - application materials due by May 15th
I-20 Deadline: The deadline for our office to issue I-20 documents is 6 weeks prior to the start date of each semester.
