Manhattanville School of Business Introduces Professional Certificate in
Managing Enterprise Risk
New program prepares leaders and managers, in every organization type, to
know how best to manage risks and integrate strategy into their operations
(Purchase, NY: July 11, 2018) The Institute for Managing Risk (IMR), within
the Manhattanville School of Business (MSB), has announced a new
Professional Certificate program - Effective Enterprise Risk
Management. This certificate program will help managers to understand and
oversee how risks are viewed across their organizations and help to create a
coherent, integrated flow of information for decision makers and line managers.
The program will also teach tools and techniques for professionals in every field
who need to address their department’s risk or need to assess and report their
risk to senior management, including risks associated with Enterprise, Human
Resources, Operations, Financial, Board Reporting, and IT/Cyber Risk. In the
wake of cyber-attacks, natural disasters, and public relation crises, it is more
important than ever for organizations to have clear training and policies regarding
“Growth, financial stability, and successful innovation require risk taking and risk
management,” said Michele Braun, Director of the Institute for Managing
Risk. “We will address strategic management, international standards, reporting
and tracking, and the all-important role of corporate culture.”
The four professionally focused 1.5-day modules begin in September. Complete
all four modules to earn the Professional Certificate in Managing Enterprise Risk
or register for any individual module.
