Steve Albanese Appointed Dean of the Manhattanville College School of Business

Purchase, N.Y. (February 14, 2018)   Manhattanville College's School of Business (MSB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Albanese, to dean of the Manhattanville School of Business. In his role, Albanese will oversee the academic affairs for the School of Business, including six Master of Science degree and Advanced Graduate Certificate options, adult accelerated (APPEAL) degree programs, dual B.S. /M.S. degree options, and the Post Baccalaureate/Pre-health course of study, in addition to the institutes and professional development opportunities that are offered. Albanese joined Manhattanville College in the fall of 2012 as assistant dean for the School of Business and served as the interim dean of the school since August 2016.

Supporting the college’s strategic plan to foster a community of lifelong learners, Albanese already has made an impact by introducing Professional Development Workshops taught by several Manhattanville alumni along with a number of popular professors from the School of Business. Current workshops are offered in the following categories: Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, Leadership, Microsoft Office Applications, Nonprofit Management and Women’s Leadership. These workshops are open to the general public and surrounding corporate community. Many are free to School of Business students. Albanese also collaborated with the School of Education and School of Arts and Sciences to develop several joint and dual-degree programs.
