Manhattanville College welcomed writer and activist Rae Gomes ’08 back to campus to serve as the keynote speaker during this year’s Baccalaureate and Honors Convocation last month.
During her speech, Gomes shared how her time at the College helped her grow as an activist, and how her activism has changed now that she is a mother. She also called upon the students to live the mission of Manhattanville and commit to social justice in their post-college lives.
