Source: Manhattanville’s carport solar project to draw power from parking

Manhattanville College’s upcoming project to build carport solar panels over the College’s parking lots was profiled in the Westchester Business Journal.

The project was approved by the Harrison Planning Board at the end of April and construction should begin this month. The project calls for about 3,600 solar panels, expected to produce 1.1 megawatts of emissions-free electricity annually.
