Yellow Ribbon Program

Manhattanville College has partnered with the Department of Veterans Affairs to become a Yellow Ribbon school. For eligible veterans, any difference in the cost of tuition and the benefits awarded will be paid for at no cost to the veteran under the agreement.

New York State Veteran Tuition Award (NYS-VTA)

The NYS-VTA is an award that is only available for combat veterans who are also New York state residents.

Tuition Costs & Veteran's Benefits

Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill educational benefits maximum award for an academic year is $19,198.31. This change is in effect for veterans that are using Chapter 33 benefits for the first time.

It is very important to note that veterans educational benefits provided by the United States Government are not taken into account when we package veteran students for financial aid. Veterans will also be able to apply for Manhattanville's GI Scholarship that provides up to $22,000 per year.

Please give us a call to further discuss the options for funding your college education. There are also many scholarships provided by outside organizations for veterans.

Transfer Credits

Manhattanville College will accept up to 90 transfer credits. Students must complete at minimum 30 credits at Manhattanville College in order to receive a bachelor's degree. Transfer credits from other colleges and military transcripts are evaluated by our Advisor to Transfer Students.
