Transfer Applicants
We welcome applications from students who have attended or are attending other institutions. Transferring can be an overwhelming process, but we make it easy at Manhattanville College.
Scholarships
If you are transferring with 30 or more college credits and you have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, you will be eligible for a merit scholarship ranging from $10,000-$20,000. *Students applying with less than 30 college credits are eligible for merit scholarships ranging from $10,000-$25,000.
Transfer Credit Policy
Manhattanville College transfers up to 90 credits!
One-half of all coursework for one's major or minor must be taken at Manhattanville.
*Students with an Associates Degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 will receive full credit for all courses successfully completed toward that degree. If transferring with an AA or AS degree from an accredited institution, you are exempt from completing Manhattanville’s General Education requirements. *AAS degree holders are an exception to this policy.

Along with your completed application, and $50 nonrefundable application fee, you will need:
- Official transcripts. You must submit transcripts from your high school and all colleges and universities attended. Transcripts should be official copies sent by mail or secure electronic delivery.
- If submitting scores our codes are: SAT - 2397; ACT - 2800
Optional supplemental materials include a letter of recommendation and a personal essay. A personal interview is strongly encouraged (and required in some cases).
Transfer Nursing Applicants
Transfer nursing applicants should submit the following REQUIRED documents:
• High school transcript or equivalent
• All college transcripts
• One letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor
• A personal Statement on why nursing is your major of choice
• TEAS Exam (Optional)
• Prerequisite courses completed (if applying directly to the clinically-ready portion of our program)

• Fundamentals of Psychology
• Development Psychology/ Life Span - Birth to Death
• Human Anatomy & Physiology I & Lab

• Chemistry
• Microbiology & Lab
• Principles of (Human) Genetics
• College Level Math (100 level or above)
• 6 credits of general education coursework
International Transfer Students
Foreign university transcripts must be evaluated by a third-party credit evaluator: (course-by-course evaluation found at www.naces.org)
