Preparation for In-Demand Careers
Health careers are more necessary now than ever before. Technicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and nurse leaders will continue to be essential amid a shortage of primary care physicians, stepping up to serve their community as thoughtful and informed decision-makers. Become ready to meet the needs of your community, whether you practice in a school, public health setting, or traditional clinical setting.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), registered nurses (RNs) will see a 6% growth in employment over ten years by 2031. It’s becoming increasingly common for RNs to hold baccalaureate-level credentials, as they provide opportunities for increased responsibility and earning potential. For credentialed nurse practitioners and other nurse leaders, the BLS estimates 40% growth, significantly faster than the average for all occupations.
With realistic technical training and experience in integrated management and patient care tactics, SNHS graduates have skills that make them sought after by top employers. Our undergraduate and graduate programs position students to pursue the professional credentials they need to practice in their state or specialty.
Holistic Integrative Modalities
Manhattanville health professions students have a competitive advantage. That’s because they learn how to integrate holistic health modalities that complement traditional modes of medicine. They can also optionally pursue a special certification in holistic nursing.
