David is thrilled to work directly with students to guide them through this exciting time in their lives. He is particularly passionate about social justice and diversity/inclusion initiatives. Prior to joining the advisement and student success team at Manhattanville, he served Teacher’s College, Columbia University as Associate Registrar and Bank Street College of Education as Assistant Registrar and Teacher Education Certification Officer. As a registrar, David saw the first-hand need for quality advisement and is grateful to have the opportunity to provide that to students here at Manhattanville. David loves the arts and has worked as a professional actor and singer for years prior to changing his career path to higher education. These days, he enjoys spending free time with his niece and nephews. He has also been a lifelong New Yorker, but now calls Norwalk, CT home. He holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Marymount Manhattan College and an M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York.
