The Registrar's Office has the responsibility to maintain timely and accurate records of the academic progress of all students while upholding the privacy and security of those records. Areas of responsibility are:
- Oversight of the registration processes for new, continuing, and returning students
- Maintenance accuracy of ServiceHub and the Student Planning online student system
- Release of transcripts, letters of attendance, and enrollment verifications
- Supervision of grade collection, posting of incomplete grades, and letter grade changes
- Transfer credit evaluation and processing for transfer and returning students
- Scheduling of many academic facilities
- Process data changes on student records for name, address, and social security updates
- Implement policy and regulations set forth by Academic Affairs and the College administration
As the official Office of Records for students at Manhattanville, the Registrar's Office has an important mission in the operation of the College. Most importantly, the office provides service to students, faculty, and staff first among its priorities, recognizing these persons as the office's primary constituency.
