Parents will have their orientation program on August 21.
Your students will be attending their own programs during this time.
If your student attended orientation in July, they are able to move-in on Friday, August 22 from 8:00am - 12:00pm.

Welcome to Manhattanville College! Pick up parent materials and start your journey as a member of the Manhattanville Family. Enjoy a light breakfast with the parents and families of other new Valiants.

Buy some Valiant gear to show off your Manhattanville College pride while waiting for your student to complete orientation.

Parent Information Sessions
The Business of College: Financial Navigation
Financial Aid and Student Accounts representatives will teach you how to navigate the world of student loans, payment plans and understand the functions of different departments on campus.

Student Services Parent Panel: All Hands on Deck
College is a time of transition for parents as well as students. A panel of administrators will give you valuable information on all aspects of student life at Manhattanville College. Departments include Academic Advising, Academic Resource Center, Campus Safety and Security, Career Services/Student Employment, Counseling and Health Centers, Dean of Students, Duchesne Center, Mentor/Transitional Program, Residence Life, Student Activities.

Meet informally with representatives from different services and programs on campus. Offices present will include: Academic Advising, Academic Resource Center, Bookstore, Career Development/Student Employment, Chartwells Food Service, Counseling and Health Centers, Disability Services, Duchesne Center, Financial Aid, IT, Library, Mentor Program/Transitional Program, Registrar, Residence Life, Student Accounts, Student Activities.
2:30pm – 3:00pm
Join Dean of Students, Sharlise Smith-Rodriguez, as she outlines the transitions incoming students and their families encounter. This presentation will focus on how to make the most of this new phase of family life.

What to Expect as a Parent of a Commuter Student - Location: Reid Hall, President's Dining Room
Is your son or daughter commuting to campus? This session will describe resources and offer tips to help make their experience successful.
Dining on Campus - What Are The Options? Location: Reid Hall, East Library
Representatives from Chartwells Food Service will give an overview of campus dining options and answer questions regarding meal plans.

Meet Archivist Lauren Ziarko as she gives insight into the history and traditions of Manhattanville.
