|Welcome to the New Student Orientation Website|
Summer 2014 Orientation sessions will be held July 15-16.
Due to expected rain showers on July 15, Student Check-in will take place inside Spellman Hall Lobby.
Manhattanville College New Student Orientation is a two-day program designed to introduce our newest Valliant’s and their families to the academic expectations and extra-curricular opportunities on campus. New students will meet faculty members, learn how to get involved on campus, and socialize with fellow new students. At the end of the two-day program, students will be fully registered for classes for their first semester and know the expectations of being part of the Manhattanville College community.
During Orientation, new students will stay overnight in our first year building, Spellman Hall. New students will participate in mandatory and extra-curricular programs during their overnight stay. Programs include meeting with first-year seminar instructors, taking student ID pictures, attending a student services and academic fair, learning about policies and procedures at Manhattanville, and having fun opportunities to bond with upper-class Orientation Leaders and fellow new students.
We offer a concurrent Parent and Family orientation program, and that schedule is posted under Parent & Family Orientation on the left.
We look forward to welcoming our newest students and families this summer.
To aid in the class pre-registration process, we ask all deposited students to RSVP for orientation and complete their Placement Exams as soon as possible.
