Disability Services

The Office of Disability Services provides direct support services to all students with disabilities to enhance their experience at Manhattanville College.  In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, we work to provide an accessible college experience for all students with disabilities, whether permanent or temporary.  As per these laws, Manhattanville College ensures that otherwise qualified students are not excluded from or denied the benefits of the Manhattanville College experience.

We work in collaboration with all departments of the college, whether academic, student services, facilities, etc to ensure accessibility and to assist students and advocate to maximize student independence and success.  Disability Services arranges, facilitates and/or coordinates reasonable accommodations and academic adjustments to meet individual students’ needs.  We partner with students to develop skills of self awareness, self-determination and self advocacy while at Manhattanville. We are committed to promoting awareness and access and act as a resource to faculty and the campus community.
