Flu 2013 Information

Manhattanville College Counseling Center has been accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services, Inc., an Alexandria, Virginia based organization of United States, Canadian and Australian counseling agencies. The Manhattanville College Counseling Center was evaluated by IACS against high standards of counseling practices and was found to offer competent and reliable professional services to its clientele. Approval by IACS is also dependent upon evidence of continuing professional development as well as demonstration of excellence of counseling performance.

The Manhattanville College Counseling Center is directed by Dr. Pamela Duncan and offers comprehensive mental health services to the full time undergraduate students of Manhattanville College.

IACS was established in 1972 to encourage and aid counseling agencies to meet high professional standards through peer evaluation and to inform the public about counseling services that are competent and reliable.

Brief Alcohol and Other Drug Screening and Intervention for College Students (BASICS)

is a three-session assessment and feedback process that allows students to explore their alcohol and other drug use and to how it is affecting their lives in a safe, judgement-free envioronment. BASICS is confidential-your information will not be shared with anyone without your permission. We can help you assess your risk, identify potential changes that may work for you, and help you reduce your risk of developing problems in the future.
