Class of 2016 Orientation Dates

 

Class of 2016, mark your calendars for the Manhattanville College New Student Orientation experience. Our online Orientation RSVP and Course Preference Request Form will be available soon @ mville.edu/orientationrsvp.   

Session 1: July 9th - 10th  

Session 2: July 12th - 13th                                      

International Student Orientation: August 21st - 23rd

Dear Valiant,

 

Congratulations on your decision to become a member of the Manhattanville College community!

 

We look forward to welcoming you to Manhattanville and meeting you at one of our New Student Orientation sessions this summer. There will be two New Student Orientation sessions offered in July, with an additional session in August to welcome our new International Students. The July Orientation Sessions are:

  • Session 1 – July 9th & 10th                 

                  OR

  • Session 2 – July 12th & 13th

 

Arrival and the Mandatory Pre-Orientation Workshop for new International Student will take place beginning August 21. With the exception of International Students who arrive to campus in August, all new students are required to attend EITHER Session I or II of New Student Orientation in July.

 

Manhattanville’s New Student Orientation program has been designed to provide you with an understanding of the academic expectations of the liberal arts education the College provides and the importance of co-curricular involvement. During your Orientation program you will work closely with our Orientation Leaders and Coordinators, who will help you begin to acclimate to college life and the new expectations it will present. Our knowledgeable, dedicated and enthusiastic Orientation staff, comprised of current Manhattanville students, will also guide you throughout our scheduled Orientation activities to further assist in preparing you for the Fall semester. Orientation is a time to begin building relationships with fellow students, administrators and staff and most importantly, with your faculty advisor who you will meet and consult with during New Student Orientation to create your course schedule and register for your Fall 2012 classes.

 

Student preferences for attendance at one of the two New Student Orientation sessions in July will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Please complete the New Student Orientation RSVP & Course Preference Request Form no later than June 1st by accessing it online at www.mville.edu/orientationrsvp . An updated Orientation schedule and important updates will be made available to you after May 7, 2012.
