In addition to the disclosure of crime statistics which are known to campus security authorities (not just campus police, but all institutional officials with significant responsibility for campus and student affairs), various policies such as to whom crimes should be reported and a description of the campus security arrangement are also required.

Effective October 1st, 1998, schools with a security department are also required to maintain a daily public crime log.
