Manhattanville College is proud to bring you the Parent & Family Association. The Association is made up of all Manhattanville parents and family members. The Association’s goals are to keep you informed and aware of dates, deadlines and Mville events! Did you know? As noted on Peterson's College Search Website "Manhattanville College enjoys a strong reputation. U.S. News and World Report repeatedly places the college in the first tier among its peer institutions." · Manhattanville is listed in the 2010 edition of the Princeton Review's "The Best 371 Colleges," and has also been included in their "top 20" in several categories including "Best College Theater" and "Best College Radio Station". · The 2010 Fiske Guide to Colleges rates Manhattanville as one of the top small colleges "strong in art, design, and music." · The Global Language Monitor's TrendTopper Media Buzz, which is a self-generating ratings system that captures the brand equity associated with fine institutions and reflects what is being said and stated on the billions of web pages measured ranked Manhattanville as one of the top 150 colleges. · Manhattanville College was recently recognized as a private college with an unusually strong record for achieving equity between Hispanic and white students in graduation rates. In its recent report, "Big Gaps, Small Gaps" the Education Trust noted that many private and public universities that serve minority students still show large disparities in graduation rates for minority vs. white students. Manhattanville achieves a notable level of success in "leveling the playing field" for Hispanic students -- over a 3-year period, approximately 60 percent of both white and Hispanic students graduated from Manhattanville. Nationally, the graduation rate for Hispanic students is about 40%. |
