Spring Full-Time Undergraduate.
Spring Part-Time Undergraduate, Graduate and DoctoralPart-Time Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral bills will be mailed out during registration periods and are due 30 days after the 1st day of a semester.
Winter 2012 Session payments are due on December 1. To Parents of the Class of 2012All seniors are required to complete a portfolio prior to graduation. Senior portfolios are due December 2nd. A resume approved by the Center for Career Development (CCD) must be included. Please encourage your student to make an appointment for resume approval if they have not already done so. Additionally please remind your student that the CCD is available to assist students with interview preparation, graduate school exploration or their job search. To Parents of the Class of 2013Your student is required to complete a portfolio prior to graduation. A resume approved the by Center for Career Development (CCD) must be included. In the past, resume approval was completed in student’s senior year however, due to the increasing amount of juniors applying for internships, the CCD is embarking on an initiative to begin resume approval for students in their junior year. According to a recent study done by The National Association of Colleges and Employers internships are becoming increasingly more important when it comes to obtaining a job. This study found that 42.3% of seniors with internship experience that applied for a job received at least one job offer. Conversely, only 30.7% of seniors without internship experience who applied for a job received an offer.A similar study found that 58% of internships turn into full-time job opportunities. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Reminder: Spring 2012 Course Registration for continuing students has been underway since November 9, 2011. Please be sure to touch base with your student to confirm he/she has registered for the Spring 2012 semester. Undergraduate course registration information is available on the Registrar’s webpage. Reminder: The Portfolio deadline for current Seniors was November 4, 2011. If your student is a current Senior and plans to graduate in May 2012, he/she must submit a completed Portfolio for review before the end of the Fall 2011 semester. Current Seniors who fail to submit a Portfolio by the end of the semester will be placed on Academic Probation and jeopardize their ability to graduate in May. All students who have not yet submitted a Portfolio have been alerted via their Manhattanville e-mail account and have been encouraged to contact their faculty advisors, Department Chairs, and the Office of Academic Advising for any assistance they may need.
