In addition, please be aware that this office is bound by the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA), a law designed to protect students' privacy. To this end, students must complete a FERPA form indicating what information they would like for us to discuss with parents. If this form is not completed in front of a financial aid counselor, we cannot discuss aspects of a student's account with anyone other than that student.
