Blackboard Learn 9.1 SP 13

What is Blackboard?

Blackboard is Manhattanville College’s Learning Management System to post, distribute, structure, and provide learning outside of the classroom.  Professors are able to provide their course content such as syllabi, handouts, PowerPoint presentations, video lectures, quizzes, exams, online assignments, discussions, and much more.

A Blackboard course is automatically created for every course at Manhattanville College. Fall courses are automatically created on April 10, Winter courses are automatically created on October 25, Spring courses are created on November 10, and Summer courses are created on May 10. This streamlines the course creation process and supports faculty and staff while preparing for academic terms. Blackboard will help Mville’s faculty and staff connect with students to support teaching and learning outside the classroom.
