Manhattanville Community March for Climate Change

Members of the Manhattanville College community participated in the People’s Climate March on September 21, an event that is being called the largest organized protest for climate change in history.

Manhattanville College’s Elizabeth Cherry Quoted in Human-Animal Relationship Story

Elizabeth Cherry, a professor in the Sociology and Anthropology Department at Manhattanville College, was quoted in a recent news story about the relationship between humans and animals.

In the article, “Between Man and Beast,” published in the Inlander, Cherry discusses the symbolic boundaries people create with animals, and how those boundaries have changed over time.

Bhinnata PiyaBhinnata Piya '12 works as Assistant to the Country Director at the first free hospital in Achham, Nepal. Her primary job is to facilitate management of all hospital operations and in-country programs, as well as directly liaise between US and Nepal-based executive teams via communication, logistical coordination and strategic development.
