BA in Psychology (entered Manhattanville starting Fall '09 or later)

Major Checklist

A minimum of 13 courses are required for the major as described below (all courses are 3 credits unless indicated otherwise). A minimum grade of C- is required in order to count a psychology course for the major.

    • PSY 2004: Physiological Bases of Behavior (4 cr.) OR PSY 2008: Sensation and Perception (4 cr.)
    • PYS 2009: Social Psychology OR PSY 2063 :Social Influence & Persuasion
    • PSY 2011: Abnormal Psychology OR PSY 2036: Personality Psychology
    • PSY 2042: Psychology and Culture OR PSY 2046: Psychology of Identity

Capstone Experience (1 course required)

    • PSY 3004: History & Systems of Psychlogy
    • PSY 4020: Writing Review Articles in Psychology
    • PSY 4025: Research & Writing Experience
    • PSY 4030: Fieldwork Experience
    • Other 3000/4000 PSY course with approval
