Student Experiences
This past Wednesday, February 12, we took a trip to the Westchester Skating Academy. Everyone put on their skates and then we entered the ice rink. Some people were skating for the first time because in their countries the ice skate is not common, many people fell but they got up again, and others seemed like they were professionals. We had a lot of fun.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2014 New York

On the 11th of February, 2014, a group of students from my class, Introduction to the Fashion Industry taught at the English Language Institute, were invited by our Instructor, Gabriella Pannunzio, to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to see the FALL 2014 collections created by top fashion design students from the Art Institute of New York City in the Theater at Lincoln Center

Materials Recovery Facility

We went to the Westchester Recycling Center on January 29th. It took 25 minutes from the college by car. At first we were explained to about recycling. There were many artistic works which were made by PET bottle caps on the wall. Many plastic bottles were gathered by a machine.
The Maritime Aquarium

This past Wednesday, November 20, we took a trip to the Marine Aquarium at Norwalk. It was a fun trip. As the first activity, we had a 45 minute show at the IMAX movie theater, which was all about the "Great White Shark". The documentary was really interesting. They showed us how people sometimes think the worst about those animals just because they have some bias. Yes, they are huge animals, not pretty at all, but they have their own charm. It's not always bad about sharks. For me, this was the best part of the trip.
