|Manhattanville College Offers New Undergraduate Degree Program In Digital Media|

Purchase, NY July 7, 2013 – Manhattanville College announced today that it will offer a new undergraduate degree program in Digital Media Production, beginning this fall.
“This is an ideal program for students who are interested in the creative and professional uses of digital media technology and digital presentation,” said Brian Snee, PhD, chair of the Department of Communications Studies at Manhattanville. “It offers students opportunities to work with industry-standard digital technology and to prepare for careers in multiple media industries.”
The new Digital Media Production program emphasizes the preparation and presentation of creative digital content in multiple media formats and underscores four key areas of study: writing for media; multimedia graphics and design; audio and video production, and media theory and analysis.
Students with a Digital Media Production major will produce a body of original work in areas such as: digital photography, digital videography, digital audio recording, multimedia journalism, and computer graphics.
