|Non-Profit Networking Night|
On Thursday, April 18, Manhattanville College Center for Career Development (CCD), for the very first time, is hosting a networking night for students and alumni interested in learning more about careers in the Non-Profit sector.
"We are excited to host 16 non-profit organizations from Westchester County who will showcase their organizations and offer additional opportunities for our students," said Shannon Hargrove, Assistant Director of the CCD.
The evening includes a keynote speech about "Careers in the Non Profit Sector" by Laura Lewis, Senior National Director of Donor Development at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This will be followed by a networking reception, where students, alumni, faculty and staff are all encouraged to attend.
Some of the participating organizations include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Family Services of Westchester, Girl Scouts, Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the National Institute for People with Disabilities.
RSVP to the event is required by April 17, by logging on to mville.experience.com or by e-mailing the CCD at firstname.lastname@example.org.
